Map of Ireland's Heritage Sites

Ireland's natural heritage forms an integral part of the Irish national identity. Around the country there is an abundance of natural wonders including the Giant’s Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher, the Skellig Islands and many more. The Irish landscape is also dotted with spectacular historical and heritage sites from the largest Stone Age monument in the world to a wealth of medieval castles and forts. Smaller, less obvious evidence of ancient settlement is apparent in every corner of the country, from the wide variety of dolmens, crannogs, forts, barrows, clochans, tumuli and cairns to passage graves and stone circles.
